Diane Homza Dacek, violin

Diane has been a member of the Parma Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years. She is proud to be a longtime member of the “Spectacular Seconds,” along with her stand partner Katie Morway. She began playing the violin in fifth grade as part of the Berea City Schools music education program. She was a member of the Midpark Symphonic Orchestra in high school and the Hiram Chamber Orchestra while a student at Hiram College, where she majored in English. Outside of the PSO, she’s the office manager for the Cleveland location of MarketVision Research. Diane shares her home in Brooklyn with her husband Jeff, son Julian, cats Ziggy and Zavanah, and an Elvis lamp.
