Everett Brandt

Everett Brandt is in his 6th season with the Parma Symphony Orchestra. After graduating from Bowling Green State University with degrees in music education and jazz performance on string bass Everett spent two years performing on cruise ships. After visiting 30 countries he returned to land and started teaching music in Ohio public schools and performing in various community groups. Meeting his wife on a hike in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park kept him local and their subsequent hikes laid the groundwork for his thru-hike of Ohio’s 1450-mile Buckeye Trail. As a board member, Everett has provided the technical knowledge to produce the Orchestra’s digital season during the Covid shutdown and subsequent concert recordings. When not on stage he can usually be found reading, running, or in the woods volunteering for the Buckeye Trail Association. He thanks his wife for her support, patience, and love.
