Joe Germana

Joe Germana has been a member of the oboe section since 1980. Having served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Parma Symphony for 25 years he was later appointed Business Manager in 2008. Joe’s oboe teachers were David McGuire and Adrian Gnam at Ohio University and the University of Cincinnati where he received a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree with a double major in Insurance and Finance. Joe is a past member of AFM local 657, Ashtabula Symphonic and CCC-West Symphonic Bands for over 10 years each. Joe is VP of the Four Star Insurance Agency in Parma, a member of the Parma Area Kiwanis, and St Basil the Great Church in Brecksville. Joe lives in Broadview Heights with his wife Diane.
