Katie Doyle
The daughter of a music teacher, Katie began playing violin at the age of 4 and piano at the age of 8. Throughout her schooling, where she grew up in Erie, PA, she had many opportunities to grow as a musician. She played with the Erie Junior Philharmonic and formed the Howard String Quartet, playing as ambassadors of the Jr. Phil at special functions for the Erie Philharmonic, weddings, and many other parties and events. She loved adding percussion instruments such as marimba, xylophone, drums, and others as she played in her high school's marching band in parades and competitions. Katie came to the Cleveland area to pursue a degree in Arts Management at Baldwin-Wallace College. She enjoys singing and playing guitar, electric bass, and violin for her church. Katie is very thankful to have become a member of the Parma Symphony in the mid-2000s so she can continue to join others in playing the orchestral music she has enjoyed throughout her life.
