Stephanie Barbour

Stephanie is a Parma City Schools alumna who began her violin journey in the 4th grade. She's thrilled to be playing alongside many talented musicians including some of her former teachers!  Stephanie first became a member of Parma Symphony over 25 years ago while in high school, with a couple hiatuses due to life's turns. She's grateful to Dr. Laycock and Parma Symphony for always being a musical home to return to!

Stephanie enjoys playing guitar and piano, and occasionally shares her love of music by teaching violin. By day, she's a solution architect, leading teams to success in the tech world. Outside of work and music, she enjoys cooking, travel, running, platform tennis, and Cleveland sports.  Most summer weekends you can find her and the love of her life attending Cleveland Orchestra concerts at Blossom.

Stephanie believes it's never too late to learn an instrument and encourages everyone to experience the joy of music and making lifelong relationships.
